I went to Australia for a year as most people do these days.

Anyway I now want to apply for a job that requires a police clearance certificate for the time I was living there.
I have gone through the high commissioners website and the consultes here in dublin and can't find any details on how I get one...

Anyone have any ideas or needed anything similar after they had left the country?

I applied for this through the Australian Federal Police
www.afp.gov.au/business/criminal_history_checks
about 5 weeks ago am yet to receive it. It does say you need to wait 6-8 weeks for it and I guess postage time on top of it too.
There are different options depending on what you need it for I think.
I hope this is the right one
