    Hi,

I'm trying to sell my 1964 3.4 Mk II. It's manual with O/D, RHD, originally a South African car, decent history, 128K miles but only 28 since an engine re-build. New interior and v clean. It is white though! It's on Irish plates and in very good nick.

I have had it up at 16.5k for a while and I'm getting no interest at all. Have I it overpriced? What is a fair price for one of them?

    All advice appreciated!

i've always had a soft spot for the mark II jag....

the price sounds ok to me assuming the car is in good condition.

    White might be the problem...

there is also usually quite a few for sale in the UK also, people in the market for one are more likely to go there to find one

Thanks for that, confirmed my suspicions...

TBH I have priced it to compete with UK cars, a decent one over there will cost 10 - 14K STG plus transport, re-reg and so on so I figured €16.5K was pretty much in line. I suspected it might be the colour putting people off, which is a shame.

Ahh well, just means I get to keep it longer!
