Does anyone know if/when this will be completed?

I'm hoping for some relief to the congestion through Citywest during rush hours.

Sorry don't have any info, is this under construction now? It looks that way from the Kingswood side.

Thanks, looking forward to it. I'll do a drive-by at both ends to look for signs of work having started on it.

Loads of work has been done, at the Kingswood end it looks nearly ready. If I was them I'd open the new section from there as far as Cheeverstown road for the sake of completing the gap. The widening of Cheev Rd could be completed more slowly afterwards.

That sounds sensible. They seem to be doing a lot of work at the end where Cheeverstown Road changes into Cookstown Road. I'd like if they sped up the installation of the traffic lights at the fortunestown Way junction. It's a nightmare getting out of there at the moment without a traffic light to assist.

Well given they opened the section from Kingswood to Ballyowen and then widened that on to the N4-it would look likely enough.
