why did the irish government call irsh Digital television via terrestrial dtt(Digital terrestrial television) when the irish Driver Theory Test is also dtt why didnt they call it freeview ireland or something

Because "DTT" is an internationally recognised standard acronym.

And the theory test is called "DTTS", anyway.
