Anyone esle with NTL MMDS service in Balbriggan?

    This is a bit of longshot, but I am trying to arm myself with as much information as I can before calling NTL customer services. I'm expecting the worst. Anyway, I've been living in Balbriggan for three years and have had the NTL MMDS service since we moved. No problems, only over the last week Sky Sports 1 has been freezing every couple of seconds - at least once every ten seconds perhaps on average - and was wondering if anyone else was having similar problems locally. The problem doesn't occur on the other channels, even the other Sky Sports channels. Tried the old turning it off from the mains and back on trick. Leaving it overnight also. But it hasnt solved the problem (understandably) but just seeing if it was something that effected other NTL customers locally.

    i have the MMDS and Sky Sports 1 stutters the odd time every now and then

    Thanks for that sgarvan. I gave it another chance on Sunday when it was better. Poor again on Monday, but grand for the Spurs/Everton match yesterday. Didnt ring customer service in the end, as I am not sure anything could be done. I'll see if it annoys me more in the future.

    We had a problem something similar to that with NTL. When we upgraded our package a few channels became very jumpy. Unbelievably irritating. We called the customer service line and they sent someone out. Turned out there was a problem with one of the cables and it had to be replaced. Works perfectly now.

    No harm in giving them a ring tbh.

    we have the mmds and all our stations jumped , turns out the down converter was moved back in the "bad weather" , it was feb !!
