    Looks like a straight-to-DVD film is on it's way in the next year with an outside chance of a third series.

    Meh.Saw the first few eps on sci fi this year and it struck me as very boring.

    He wasn't available in time for the film, but if they wanted to re-shoot some of it he might be persuaded. Can't imagine it without him, really, or with a different Daisy

    I really loved this show, but why are they resurrecting it now? I thought the new show "Pushing Daisies" is going to be very similar to "Dead Like Me".

    Great to hear! I'm not too worried about the absence of Rube, his role as mentor to George had pretty much ended by the season 2 finale and his own arc about his past wrapped too. I don't see the point in recasting Daisy though, she was an interesting character but I think they went too far with her when they had her kill someone and it totally isolated her from main theme.
