10/20c Flop action in raised pot.

I've been at the table 4 orbits. Won a couple of small uncontested pots, haven't had a showdown yet.

Button raises every Button and CO if there's no previous raise. Passive post-flop though and easy to push off.

BB seems a bit tilty and is involved in a lot of pots. (67/17 over the whole session).

Stacks: me 22$, Button 20$, BB covers.

I'm in the SB with Ah10h. Button makes his standard raise, I call as does the BB.

    Flop (2.40$): Qh 4h 10s.

I check, BB bets 1.20$, Button calls, I raise to 4$.(Raise more?)
BB min re-raises to 6.80$, Button folds.

Action and comments on the play?

    Re-raise preflop
If I raised flop I would make it at least 7 with then intention of calling a shove. As played just calling seems good

you played it fine, but i would 3 bet the button with this hand sometimes if hes button raising non stop.

maybe re-pop a little more to 5 or 6 but i do like a check raise here rather than leading.

i agree with Reggie just call the 4 bet and shove turn.

I wouldn't shove the turn though, unless we hit a T or A or heart. I would c/c turn most of the time.

but with 17.20 in the middle and only 14.40 behind surely its better to shove than c/c

Well no cos you would love if he gave you a free card here and a shove will never get called by worse apart from a different combo draw maybe, esp since he's shown so much strength on the flop.

Shove now. Don't see why you'd do anything different. tbh at those stakes just play good hands very straightforwardly, nothing fancy, nothing retarded and you will win.

3 Bet pre flop. Re raise more on the flop.

As played though I don't shove now. I call now. I fear he may have a big hand, set, two pair, and you may be only on a bare heart draw. I don't like his min re re raise on the flop. Has he done this previously? He as shown a lot of strength.

    Thanks for the replies.

I flat called. The turn brought another 10 making it easy for me. However should I be open shoving the turn?

I checked because the villain had shown a lot of strength and I was expecting him to bet again. He leads out small, 8$ so I shove for the rest of my stack.

Is this always an open shove?

No checking is far better on that turn
