My sister wants to get one of those wireless video/audio senders for her computer and tv, I had one years ago and I don't remember it being picture perfect at all.. have they improved at all? are they worth buying?

the computer is on the same floor as the tv, only the width of the house away from it (regular semi-detached estate sized house) but the room the computer is in used to be a garage.. so I'm wondering would that have an effect on the signal quality?

also, someone mentioned that running a microwave while using the video resender can **** with the signal? I don't really see that happening, but just to check every possibility... is this possible?

so has anyone used these things in recent years, are there any particular brands I oughta look out for or anything I oughta know before I purchase one?
