As far as I know, there is Fitton St. gym on Morrison's Island and The Locker Room on Washington St., both for €10.

I thought the mardyke was only pay as you go for ucc students?

There's a leisureworld in churchfield aswell. Probably closer to the city centre than bishopstown

I heard the Mardyke allowed you to pay as you go during the summer, but were members only in the winter... may not be true - I'm sure their website would clear it up.

I go to UCC Mardyke, great atmosphere. The staff are quite friendly too.
