in todays game the players had to contend with a trip to poland, and a week in limerick, the results of which should not be evident for another couple of weeks, usually after these sessions a game or two are usually illeverant, ( HOPEFULLY) the vision is of the world cup, thats the objective,

Exactly we want France to be LOOSING not winning...you do know they are in our group, playing on home turf and are favourites to come first in the group? The last thing we need is a France on a winning streak before the RWC

In a match, where the MOTM was only on-field for 20 minutes!

'Twas an absolute shocker of a game. England had most of the possession which meant that the paying punter or anyone bored enough to watch the game hardly saw the ball.

Nice to have FR build up their confidence so early, so that we can HAMMER 'em in the group game (well, a victory of any sort would be nice ;) )

England's problem is their backs, they couldn't finish a four peice jigsaw puzzle. If any decent backline had England's possession and position they would have hockeyed France imo.

England are cr@p... In this video they have a 5 v 1 attack and they don't even score the try! Great try-saving tackle by Szarzewski though!

They still should be a lot better then they are, there is no consistency in the backline, they are constantly being re-jigged every game as some combination is magically going to work. They need time together before they'll make any sort of impact.

I think once the WC is over they can scrap a lot of deadweight and start froming a solid, consistant backline. They certainly have a few, young players that I'd rate e.g. Hipkiss, Strettle, Flood, Gegharty(?), Cipriani etc.,

Strettle, in possession, in those situations would have scored. He's a huge loss to the England team. Farrell doesn't really offer much creativity in the backline. He is lucky to be in their squad for the World Cup. Had Tindall been fit i think Ashton would have not included Farrell. Their backline is poor.
However, if England's current backline does somehow become more potent they'll be hard to beat in this World Cup because their pack is capable of giving any opposing pack problems.
