right lads more advice need i am looking for a GBB Glock, think about the TM G17.

the only problem i have with is the plastic slide would like metal, any got any recommendations for an alternative?

*edit ps like the night sights that come with it not too sure how practical they are though*

KSC do an excellent range of metal slided glocks

KSC are a great GBB brand and are great valuve for money. the 17 is a nice pistol nut i personally prefer the 34 great kick out of it on green.

marui is the best gbb manufacturer to me, especially on the recent releases.
ive owned quite many of 'em and i can tell you one thing : theyre just... flawless
i even got one of my hi-capas to shoot under 5 degrees (with a slight tune up alright)

i didnt see any marui G17 yet but im sure theyre worth it.
if you've ever seen or used a marui G23 u'd be sure of it too ;)

about the metal slide : i dont think you really need that, oh and by the way, real glocks dont have a metal slide ;)

just took a look at redwolf pics - they like to take some nice pics - my god, its gorgeous.
if the mechanism is just a good as the hi-capa's, you will be amazed at the range and precision of that thing ^^

Glocks do have a metal slide. the frame is a polymer and the slide and barrel are metal coated in tennifer which affords the slide near diamond like hardness and also an excellent resistance to corrosion. the one thing i have against the new marui is that it's slightly fatter than the real steel meaning that RS accessories are a no no. I do understand that maruis consistancy is excellent but I just wouldnt trust a plastic slide on green so for me its KSC all the way. slap up a review of the Marui when you get it please as i would really like to hear how it performs.

:o yeah ok it looks like glocks have metal slides, however im pretty sure ive seen a glock with a polymer slide before... maybe was a prototype or something, im not much into glocks anyway, imma ask this glock-addict friend of mine :p

what do you mean with green ? do you mean green gas ? if yes wow, of course not for plastic slides :p
