if there is s**t weather outside and you have got 1.5 yrs baby with you (so you can't get in to the pub for longer than 3 minutes as she gets boring and starts wrecking a place around)?

    thanks for advice

A drop of rain never hurt anyone... :)
Stick on your rain gear & wellies & bring her for a walk around Red Island (there's a playground up there) or along the beach. There's another cracking playground up in Ardgillan Demesne too.

Take a walk along the harbour to the fishing boats - might also see some fishing off the end of the pier. Then there's the slot's @ Bob's casino. You might also find the lightboat house open, so you could take a peek there. There's normally lots of activity at the boat club, on the harbour road.
There can also be matches at the GAA pitches, or if your lucky at the soccer grounds. If you are really bored head up to the train station - might entertain the 1.5 year old! The ladies steps over the railway line near Ardgillan are due to open soon.
Skerries Mills is another good spot. Nice cafe there.
