Grumbling appendix

    Hey guys,

I had a sharp, burning pain below and to the right of my belly-button.

Made first available appt with doc, was told was grumbling appendix, that it should gradually ease off, and the pain will go away. BUT if it gets worse to head for A&E pronto.
I'm on a medial card so can't afford to pay for a second opinion or more advice.

And I'm NOT saying I'm unhappy with the doc I saw (mine is on holiday) or with the examination or advice I was given. Just am a bit freaked to be honest as I'm rarely unwell and never been in hospital since I was 3 (had my tonsils out)

Went online but couldn't find much.

    Any body got any thoughts

This is not a medical forum. I would advise you to follow the doctor's advice.
