Mods and the NCT

    Just bought a car and was thinking of modifying it but it needs the NCT.Are they failing cars with mods or would I be ok?Maybe I should just her NCT'd first!Are there any mods they allow/dont allow you with?

    Thats a pretty broad question as there are loads of mods you can pass NCT with no bother and loads that could be iffy.. Best of just puttting the car through standard and then mod the balls off it when its through. Save yourself the hasstle! ;)

    It should not matter what mods you do to the car as long as you are a responsible modder. All mods you do should be road legal as if you do not have it road legal then you run into all sorts of problems if you did have an accident, the least of which will be your insurance company may refuse to pay out.

    Thats a far bigger problem than the NCT......if it's road legal and solid then no mod will fail an NCT.
