Just wondering if anyone here could be of some help. Can an ex-Irish subscription card be used to receive the Free-to-View stations such as Channel 4, Five, etc....?

Also, I have a Grundig GDS3000 Digibox here. The problem is it won't turn on. When I plug it in and press the on button, you just here a little clicking noise from inside the machine itself. Can this problem be solved and if so, easily??

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Old Irish sub card is no use for FTV channels

The Grunding problem may be a problem with the power supply. I think it was a relatively common fault with that make.

Power supply their biggest problem. Many Grundigs were manufactured with dodgy capacitors AFAICR. Take over by Thomson and no longer manufacturing Skyboxes (if they exist at all)

Yes!....put it in the bin, that should solve it!. You will pick up a good digibox for peanuts on Ebay.
