hi all, I want to upgrade my graphics card (using a crap x1300 64/512mb at the mo). Which would be better? A mid range 8 Series or a 7900? I've got around 150 to spend, and I can install it myself. Cheers

Best card in your price range is the X1950Pro.

The GeForce 8600GTS is the card that comes closest to the X1950Pro but the X1950 can be gotten cheaper & is still faster.
