I'm pretty sure there's a european supplier for Kobag and you don't have to wait that long, but Fournier are better anyway.

I got mine in liffey valley of all places. Some weird place...Some kind of gift shop or something, I forget the name now, it's near the main entrance if memory serves.

Yep - used to be in Liffey Valley but we closed that due to rent going from 130,000 to 332,000 last year.

You can buy online at www.casinoshop.ie or www.giftmaster.ie (both the same but casinoshop is casino game stuff only) - delivery is quick (next working day usually).

We are also open to callers in Athy Business Campus, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm & later by appointment.

And put "boards" into the coupon box and 10% will come off the price. As for price as cheap as USA and cheaper than UK & European stores. 6.95 per deck!

New KEM Pantheon are in stock next week.

If you call me before 2pm I might be able to drop some to you in Dublin - i will be in Tallaght & Lucan areas followed by edenderry & then ballinasloe. 086 6021830. (I'll put a few packs into the car anyway)

    Rgds

Cheers for the 'boards' discount. Just ordered myself a few packs of Copag's and a few of those new bicycle cards (although surely this will give the lads even more excuse to bend the corners into a hoop!!). I just realised that I must have got my table top from you when you were in Liffey Valley, its good to see you are still running on this inter-web thingy

We have used all the big brands but the best so far is the freebie packs of Paddy Power we got at the ppuk open in Banbridge last year. Does anyone know where they can be bought?

Was "swimming" through that part of the world yeterday - Never knew Moate had a river running though it!!!!!

If you're in Athy we have showrooms open and we will have 12 new tables coming in around mid october including four that change into dining tables! - from 4ft to 8ft in length. Pictures & advance order system for tables will be online in about a week.

Fournier ones can be bought in the fitz, didn't think much of them tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

i actually think fournier are the best make.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 167 ✭✭FungiWalsh

I got a bunch of Fournier 2826 decks online, and they're absolutely lovely. Got them at tridentcards.com.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,165 ✭✭✭DEmeant0r

well maybe it's just the ones that fitz sells, they're too small and they're not flexible enough to shuffle properly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

yeah, they use fournier in the club but i don't think they're the ones they actually sell/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,165 ✭✭✭DEmeant0r

I have bought a pack, and the the As says fournier, but yeah they're not the ones they use in the club itself.

I'm hoping to have Fournier & Dal Negro (Torcello) plastic cards in stock from september. Fournier are part of the same corporation as US Playing Card Co who also own KEM. The make up of the cards are different to KEM & to COPAG and at the end of the day its probably more personal choice than anything that distinguishes the different cards apart.
