Of course its not. Nintendo hates Europe! There entire relationship with this continent seems to be based on getting back at us for not buying the NES!

^ Was'nt it the snes? as in most of us bought the mega drive while the rest of the world bought the snes


Anyway the european release is a fair bit after the american so why would he have it this early in all fairness

As I recall it was the other way around. The SNES was big over here but the Genesis ruled America.

And it was the NES that never sold over here, it was 3 years late and by then woefully under powered.

You could also buy a game for your C64/amstrad/speccy for 4 punts put a NES game would set you back maybe 60-70 punts. No wonder it didn't do well.

Decent videos, but nothing spectacular... I like the way you can lock onto a target like before, but that just locks the center of the screen on the target, you can still point and shoot anywhere on the screen with the wiimote.

I do find it cool the way they're promoting with it the VC releases and the way they're going to have a new video ready on the 13th, and then a fourth video and then the launch... It's whetted my appetite for MP3 a little more now, but I still have a shrink-wrapped MP2 to open and finish!!

How's an honest person supposed to find enough time to play all these games?

After reading Eurogamer's synopsis in their "Wii: 2007's Most Wanted" feature, I'm actually barely looking forward to this at all now:(
I've also spoiled myself by playing through MP1 again last week, so MP3 is going to have a tough time convincing me while that experience is still fresh in my mind...

and starting on MP2 again the other day was also a bit of a mistake, it only reminded me that Retro were unable to pull off a truely great sequel last time around...

This game is a lot more hyped than mp2 was though in all fairness
this is a really big game and it will get a lot of sales for the wii especially with all this promotion
nothing like this was talked about for mp2 sure

the only metroid game i ever bought was hunters on the ds and wasnt all that impressed
and for that reason ive no intention to buy this game or any other metroid game

bring on super smash bros brawl even if it isnt out till next year

In fairness, hunters wasnt like a metroid game at all...

It had metroids, it had Samus... the similarities kinda end there!

Please for your own sake don't deny yourself the pleasure of playing some of the best games ever made. Hunters is completely different to the Metroid games. They are like the GBA castlevania games except a whole lot better.

not a very spoilerific video, but it shows how nice the game is looking and some tasty spider ball gameplay

Get Fusion on GBA, its 2D but still a whole lot better than Hunters.

Hunters was a piece of crap compared to the rest of the Metroid series.
