Hi all, anybody any problems with your woodfloor when you turned the underfloor heating on the first time? The supplier said that the heat will build up gradually over the next few weeks. So hope my new wood floor will not warp!!Its glued onto the concrete slab and i have sealed the concrete before laying the floor.Cheers Barry

As a benefit to the rest of us, what kind of wooden floor did u put down and what kind of glue did u use.

Was this a schme u designed urself? Thanks

Also how are u heating the UFH, oil, gas, geo, solar, elec, nuke?

Its a solid walnut floor and used a flexible glue with it.The heating system is geothermal. Barry

we have engineered oak flooring down on ufh for 18 months with no problems. Solid floor should be have no problems IF its moisture content was correct when it went down.

Have you never had the heating on yet? was the screed at a suitable MC?
