The GAA has confirmed that a small number of tickets for the Dublin v Derry, Bank of Ireland senior football championship quarter final at Croke Park on Saturday have been returned county sources.

These tickets will be available to purchase from 2pm on Friday from the GAA website http://www.gaa.ie/, from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and in the Croke Park area from the GAA Ticket office at 526 North Circular Road and McCaughey's Shop on Clonliffe Road while stocks last.

I knew this would happen. It always does. I said so last week. Anyway, I think everyone of the real fans here are sorted by now.

Ticketmaster always does this, there is a load of tickets for the rolling stones and The Police. Tickets on Ticketmaster are never really sold out.

It's not just Ticketmaster. Any good Dublin fan has spent time in one of those long queues at the back of the Cusack Stand, the day before a match which was supposively sold out the week before. Tickets always come back from other counties a few days beforehand. That is all that has happened here.

Exactly, no different to any other game in Croker aside from the finals.

Always tickets available at the ticket office on the Thursday or Friday, just returns from other counties.

Out of my own interest, went on to see how hard it is get tickets, no problem, 10 minutes later and still been offered lots for all over the ground.

Good few tickets on sale today, still selling Hill tickets which I found odd. Far better tickets than the **** you get on ticketbastard too (got 2 lower Cusack row AA). Obviously tickets being returned from all over the country. The next game will be a different proposition all together though.

Always the same, until it gets to the semi final stage.

Last week it was rush rush rush to get three tickets and everyone under the sun was asking me to get tickets.

Today I've been offered twelve tickets and counting and have sorted out most of my mates.

God I wish my good work would be rewarded with guaranteed tickets to the semi :(

Well actually there was two teams involved if i recall - thats usually the way it works.

Yes one of them was Dublin, thats the same Dublin who played Limerick in the round after that and drew a MASSIVE crowd of 1500 - so just keep your fingers crossed that your first National League game is away and you'll have no problems with tickets!! :D
