    LITE

LITE are an instrumental quartet from Tokyo, Japan. Their members are: Nobuyuki Takeda (guitar), Kozo Kusumoto (guitar), Jun Izawa (bass) and Akinori Yamamoto (drums).
Formed in 2003, LITE’s cinematic sound combines math-rock dexterity and deft interplay between instruments with influences as diverse as Shellac, Tortoise and Italian prog giants Area and Osanna. Dealing in power and precision, their debut mini-album released last year was an unheralded gem - full of beautiful dual guitar melodies over a driving, propulsive rhythm section.
Following a successful UK & Ireland tour in September 2006 and critical acclaim in their native Japan (including a no.1 college radio single “Human Gift”), LITE return with the full length album “Filmlets”. Recorded early last year, "Filmlets" takes LITE’s dynamics a step further with a bolder, more confident production and a broader palette. From the explosive “Contemporary Disease” and “On A Gloomy Evening” to the more introspective “Dead Leaf”, “Filmlets” is an exhilarating record.

"one of the most technical yet enjoyable instrumental math-rock albums in recent memory...Filmlets is a truly remarkable album" - The Silent Ballet

"a spectacular new addition to the math rock fraternity...instrumental music of head-spinning complexity” - The Source

"Filmlets is a compelling mix of Shellac severity and Blonde Redhead urgency, with great rock tracks like 'Human Gift' demonstrating the group's collective creativity to the full...LITE look set to lead the post-rock fightback" - Rock-a-Rolla

"the wall of sound they create has so many exciting layers that it is impressive to just imagine the tracks performed live" - Fake Jazz

"LITE pack an impressive emotional weight alongside the inevitable barrage of musical technicality...the warm guitar tones of track such as 'Human Gift' are sent skyward on the back of the band's extravagantly gifted rhythm section while the sweeping e-bow of 'RE' possesses a grandeur worthy of Explosions In The Sky. Indeed it's this unashamedly epic and accessible streak that makes LITE so appealing" - Rock Sound

"Funky, quirky, driving math prog rock!" - Ptolemaic Terrascope

    The Ghostwood Project

The Ghostwood Project formed in the summer of 2004. The band is Sean Mahon (guitar), Thomas Delaney (drums), and Conor Garry (bass). They met by answering an advert in a local music shop and since then the trio have been steadily building a profile for themselves on the irish scene. They have played over 130 gigs including support slots to the Redneck Manifesto, Electric Eel Shock, Jape, The Dudley Corporation, Waiting Room, Giveamanakick and an Irish Tour with iForward Russia!
Road Records discribed them best as "sounding at times like a more rocking Mogwai with some of the epic moments of godspeed and the off tune avant rock of sonic youth". They will be on tour with LITE around Ireland and are set to release their long awaited debut album this October.

Aeromodeller is Derrick Dalton (Crumb, Mexican Pets, Hey Paulette) and friends. Aeromodeller play lush, layered instrumental guitar music that recalls the clean guitar sheen of Jonny Marr and The Trashcan Sinatras
