Anyone grabbing this today? I'm tempted to do a trade in to get it cheap.

Looking for early impressions from anyone who picked it up. ;)

I'm considering it.... I never got the DS one.

I think i'll pass on it - I reckon it'd be hard to control with the wii and i'd kill the patients. Seeing Derek Stiles walking with his head down on the ds after i've killed his patient always brings a tear to my eye!;) :p:p

Just been playing it. don't seem to bad so far I kinda just rushed thru it to see what the controls were like and the seem grand. use the nunchuck stick to select the tools and then the wiimote to use em, I have only done the first operation so far so not too sure what else is involved.

Might get this one Sunday when I'm in the city centre. It's not worth the walk down to Gamestop Santry just to find a 60+ euro sticker on the front.

    A second opinion?

    You're also lazy.

It's this just a Wii-make of the DS one?

    "Doctor Zaius, Doctor Zaius!"

I think it is a re-vamp of the DS version, but with added stuff in there. Knid of like the Wii version of Resident Evil. I will be picking it up on the way home, it looks great!

    Good call.

As I have the DS version, I might just wait until the original Wii Trauma Centre comes out. New Blood I think it's called?

It is very similar to the DS edition, but if you enjoyed that, get this, its still great, the fresh control method and enhanced graphics make it all new again.
And, thankfully, there's a skip button for those lengthy talky exposition scenes
It 49.99 in Gamestop and a definte buy if you haven't played the DS edition and a look if you have.

Got it today, was fun until the the fifth level, and the patient keeps dying in about a minute, guess I'll have to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do.

you can inject them with medicine to bring their vitals back up - i can't remember whats its called but its the green one on the DS. Also you get 'the healing touch' so you can slow down time..;)

Saw an amusing webcomic a while back on how the healing touch is basically scrawling a pentagram on your patients chest. Made me wonder...

If it's the same as the DS one i'll think I'll pass. I got to a certain level in that that was impossible to pass, never went back to it.

    Same here actually.
It eases you into it slowly, all the while you're thinking that this is one of the freshest gaming experiences you've had in years, then all of a sudden ramps the difficulty up way too many notches.
Think I'll pass on this one and let the film of dust on my Wii get a bit thicker...

Damn, i've only now stopped getting annoyed when thinking of this game (because it's almost a year late) and i was half-thinking of getting this and breaking my Wii streak (and turn on my Wii for the first time in weeks).

I have to say, my PS2 has been getting a little too much use lately.

    Too much use?
Nintendo should have thought of that before the massive delays that Europeans have to suffer before we get any decent games

Yeah, according to Wikipedia anyway. Ridiculous, really

Yeah, my friend from America was talking about TC for months, and I had no idea what she was on about. I hate the way things come out so late over here.

BTW, if you buy TC on CD wow you save 1€ (48.99) compared to Game stop (49.99), free delivery, but there is the wait. One more thing, I bought the wii remote and wii play for 44.99 in Argos, which was advertised at 54.99 maybe a mistake on their behalf. The remote on it's own is 44.99, so you are getting a free game.:D

It's temporarily out of stock though...
Steer clear of cdwow, there was a big thread about how crap they've become over in the games forum recently...

Don't do anything when there's turbulence, just wait till it passes then continue the surgery. I don't think I needed to use healing touch, just the green stuff to bump vitals up.

Just got it the last day - best game I have for the Wii!:)

Nice one, just 1 thing how do i do the grid thing on the black kid?

That was awkward, I just used healing touch right away and quickly got rid of them all, so they didn't spread.
