What part of New Jersey to stay in for a few days?

I'll be travelling from Washington DC to Boston via New Jersey. We've decided to spend four nights in New Jersey on the way. So can anyone recommend a good part of NJ to stay in that would have enough stuff going on to entertain two lads who can legally drink but won't have access to a car.

    Thanks

You could try and stay in Hoboken its a pretty decent spot. You get NY and NJ at the same time lots of good bars and clubs there as well. If you get board of NJ you can jump on the path train which only costs a $1.50 and you in New York city in less than 20 mins.

    Atlantic City?

Las Vegas on the coast apparently.

I heard that about Atlantic City but I'm not that much of a gambler tbh, and my mate would probably lose the clothes off our back.
