Well on your two games, they are both racing games which I would find very annoying without the verity. I would keep Motorstorm but it's up to you which one you prefer. Then I'll trade the one you don't want for Resistance FOM, awsome game as I've played it in GameStop. That'll be my 1st pick.

It should look fine on your TV , obviously it would be better on a HD screen , but it will look fine. Scart connection is in the box , make sure and set it up for RGB for best quality.

Connecting to broadband is simple and pretty much automated , it will walk you through , with a fixed line its a matter of connecting with a cat 5 network cable ( youll have to buy one of these , its not in the box) ,if you have wireless then there is a routine to walk you through it. Its all in the manual , if you dont have a wireless router I suggest you get one . There is a wireless connection built into the console for connecting to a wireless router.

Unlike the xbox , all the consoles are the same , besides hard drive size ( although here I believe its a 60GB drive regardless) . So it should connect no problem.

Ridge racer and motorstorm are good titles , Motorstorm is a bit short but good fun nonetheless ,

Best thing to do really is to go online and download all the demos from the playstation store , they are free , and you can try before you buy. There are also some very cheap full titles on there that are good fun , including some PS1 classics.

I don't have internet access yet and I want to update the firmware on my PS3.

I've downloaded the 120mb software onto a memory stick but the PS3 didn't recognise it. It did recognise it on my camera's flashcard though, and downloaded the photographs with ease.

Should I erase the flashcard and copy the software onto that or will the PS3 recognise a burnt CD, with the firmeware?
