Hand 1: How much should I of bet?

We are playing the 2/5 in the jackpot. half the table is value but they have no cash while myself, conor bloomfield and john o'shea have all the cash.

    John has about 2k
    im on 1500
    Button has 450/500

Im playing like a rock. John would be the most active at the table pre-flop but tends to tighten after the flop. Its folded to me and I make it 20 with 78h

    button calls

john in sb makes it 65.I called because his range is very wide. We have only played one hand against each other all night where it was a similar situation where he check folded the flop to me.

I call as does the button.

the flop comes 9c 10h Js

sb checks dealer then goes to give the option to the button not realising im in the hand. I say im here to but ill check it anyway.

    Turn is 4h

john bets out 100, I make it 250.he thinks for a few seconds and calls
(pot 675). When he called i figured maybe AQ or Ax with a pair and a fd

    River is a black brick

    he checks, action to me?

Hand 2: Round of each this morning, should i be raising here?

We are three handed quite late in the morning and i have all the cash and im playing about 2200 on the button, BB has about 500 and sb has 400

I pick up As4s KdQd and I make it 8 first to act and get two callers

    Flop comes Js 2s 3d

    BB bets out 25.

    I call?

    turn is Ad

BB bets out 50.I know have the ten and the spades as clean outs now but iv still the 5 aswell which could be for a chop which is over 12 outs and if he has two pair with the flush draw i also have another 9 outs.

I raise it up to 150? should i be doing this here?

I dont think its an obvious call if he shoves as i do have the crappy end of the straight at the end of the day

I dont think John would play the nuts like that. Though getting cred would suck.

flop check in 1 is terrible, bad cards and soooo much missed value

From my limited play with john I think he'd bet the nuts on the flop. I don't think he would check because as valor said, missed value.
