I'm thinking of getting a boat to potter about on the weekends.
Does anyone have an idea of what mooring fees are on any of the Wicklow harbours?

Are you sure? , the only numbers I could find online was for Dun Laoghaire in south Dublin and they want about 6K for a 20 foot boat per annum which is beyond what I could afford to be honest.

Pat, are you a member of a boating club yourself, or do you know of any Wicklow based ones I could join and find out all this stuff from ?

    Thanks.

i know someone that put a boat in wicklow harbour about 6 or 7 years ago maybe and it was only about £30. Think it was about 25 foot, i suppose ring the harbour board and they will tell you.

sounds like that may have been the marina,

think its €400 per metre. so it woulbe be about 2k for a 20 footer.

In the harbour itself prices vary in dun laoghaire.
can be anywhere from €400 from the harbour master, to €995 from the DMYC and prices raising as you go across the clubs.

YOu should contact wicklow yacht club and they should be able to tell you

Thanks Matt, yep the massive fees were indeed from Dun Laoghaire Marina.
I'll follow it up with Wicklow Yacht Club from here (now I know such a thing exists!)
