Part time Fitness Instructor required for In-House Corporate Gym Facility

    Join a small In-house corporate gym facility in the Sandyford Industrial Estate for 5 hours per week (spilt over two days e.g. one day two hour, a second day 3 hours or twice 2.5 hours / one evening shift around 4/4.30pm and one 12/12.30am or morning shift 7/7.30pm).

    The hours have to be arrange between the current gym manager and the additional new part time fitness instructor and are relative flexible.

    The main objective is to cover the gym 2-3 evenings between around 4.30pm – 7pm and 1-2 mornings or lunchtimes.

    The position will be available late August, early September 2007.

    This position might suit somebody living locally or someone living close to the south Dublin LUAS, as the gym, office building is 5min walk from the Sandyford LUAS stop.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Gym inductions, health screening, fitness assessments, Exercise program design
    • Teaching a variety of group exercise classes
    (optional, e.g. abs, jogging club, circuit class ….)

    Skills Required:
    • Strong drive and passion for all aspects of fitness
    • Be reliable and able to work on own initiative
    • Competent with the usage of computers
    (Outlook, Word, Excel, possibly Fitech)
    • Ability to teach a variety of group exercise classes an advantage

    Qualifications required:
    • NCEHS, NCEF, ITEC or equivalent qualification.
    • Experience an advantage but not essential
    • Up-to-date First Aid Qualification

    Other Benefits:
    • Potential to do In-House Personal Training
    • Experience in a corporate gym setting
    • Hands on approach to bring new ideas to the fore in a small gym
    environment (as opposed to a large, less personal gym).

    I was going to ask them if they wanted it done, but after seeing that they'd removed your thread they would seem to prefer it wasn't.

    Rules are different across different forums.


    As I said in the pm, my request above wasn't a personal one, but one asking for a rough idea for people reading this thread.
