Would anyone know where I can get my hands on a VW Beetle (convertible)? I have 2 Mg to sell and really would love a VW. If anyone knows anyone looking for a 1974 MGB GT or 1971 MGB Roadster in brilliant condition please let me know.:)

I know of a good 1976 Karmann convertible beetle on it's way from California very soon. PM me if you want the contact details.

There's a white convertible in Tallow, Waterford. Not sure about the age, but I think the plates are black. My sister-in-law got married in it some years ago, so I'm not sure if they're only renting it out but they sell cars as well, so it might be worth a try.

    Cloono

I had a good look at them on Sunday and they just wouldn't be suitable for me. I need something with a back-seat.

    thanks anyway

Jellybelly33, Karmann built 4 seat Beetle convertibles as well as the Ghias.

O...i didn't know that. Saw one on Sunday and it just didn't take my fancy. It must of been a ghia cuz i wouldn't have been able to put anything in the back seat except a little bag

easy mistake, all "genuine" beetle convertibles were built by Karmann, make sure thats what you buy.

I think you might be confusing a Karmann Ghia -

    35.jpg

    with a Karmann Beetle -

    106_4.jpg

which has seats as good as any beetle.

Don't go near any convertible VW that isn't a genuine Karmann. ;)

Oh ye, i was confusing the 2....is this the car you were telling me about?
