    Guys,
I purchased a Sky box there about 2 years ago, it has no card so only get the usual BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 and UTV1, UTV2 etc.

But there is no C4, any ideas why?

You need a UK Free to View Card for Channel 4 and others, Circa e70. Google satone and look for "Freesat card"

Strange though how we have the BBC's and UTV without a card.

You dont need a card for itv/utv and bbcs they are free to air. For CH4, cH5, Sky3 and Fives other digital channels you need a Free to View card. These channels are Free to View NOT free to Air.

Edit: It is hoped that Ch4 will go Free to Air sometime in 2008, when their encryption contract with sky ends. This also applys to E4 and More4.
As for Ch5, God only knows!!

Nothing strange at all. Channel 4 are in a contract and can't go FTA until that is up.
