I am not having a good day, I'll tell you that. First, UPS come along and charge me 74 euro for delivering an AEG. I went to fire said AEG and it wont feed bbs properly. Either mags.

You'll get a burst going on full auto which will work fine. Then it'll just stop. On taking the mag out, there are plenty of bbs sitting there in it waiting to be fired. 4 bbs will have remained in the gun itself. They dont fall out like with a Marui. The only way to get them fired out is to press down on the visible one (sometimes it will click into place) or put the gun upside down and fire it that way.

I remember someone had an issue before where this was happening. Turning the AEG upside down worked for him too. I think he managed to fix it....?

Ideas anyone? I've tried lubing it, nothing. I'm not going to take apart a 400 euro gun I just bought either.

    = me

Sounds like it could be a problem with the tappet plate or the hop-up. More likely the tappet plate I'd say :(

Out of curiosity what model and make is it?

it might be the hop up is it set that its actually gripping the bbs rather then spinning them?

also kinda stupid but i will ask..you did fully charge the battery?

oh and its not the cheapo included bb's per chance? could be they are just crap

I've tried it with the hop up on, off, mid way..etc etc. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Currently using my old battery as the new one charges. I'll try it out with that in a few hours. You never know. By the sounds of the gearbox though it's charged fully.

Oh and no, the bbs aint cheap! I wouldn't dream of doing that.

Have a quick look on Arnies and ASI to see if anyone has had a similar problem and I'll swing by later with some poking prodding and prying things, might even bring some tools to fix the AEG :D

The fire selector also feels off too.

The action from Safe to semi is smooth, but from semi then to full auto drags slightly, and then you have to be a bit forceful to get it to click in.

Can someone please explain to me why I am so unlucky with guns?

Mac 11, didnt work when I bought it. Managed to fix it.
Bell m9 didnt work and still doesn't.
    King Arms Fal. Keeps jamming.

    ????????????

It's that bloody gravity field again. It must be warping my airsoft stuff.

Voodoo. I didn't think it would be so effective though. I'll take the needle out of the AEG being carried by your voodoo effigy doll. Sorry.

Question: have you ALREADY gotten your FAMAS off your hands mate? or will you be borrowing an AEG for this weekend? :)

o1s1n, email them and say whats happening, also email the manfacturer. i did that with g&g and i got great advice stuff you dont normally hear...

it probably something small...and lets be honest, you are going to have to open it at some stage, so you may as well do it while they are covering you from support...

    It's fixed!!!!

You know where the bbs leave the mag and go into the reciever? I don't know what the part is called. Its a small tube like thing coming out of the housing.

The opening to the tube (where the bbs go in) was slightly bent inward. Meaning the bbs couldnt feed in properly.

N.O.I.P stuck the end of an alan key in, it opened it up and now it works perfectly.

Thanks man! :D *tears of joy*

great :D and how is the new beast when it comes to spitting bb's?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

Typical I bring up my shiny new toolkit and all I needed was a lousy allen key, didn't manage to fix his M9 though, ah its probably about time I started charging him for this stuff anyway :D

The length makes me feel like I should be using it in semi and going for maximum accuracy. Has that kind of a feel. Totally different to the FAMAS. The damn thing is longer than my bolt action!

Would be a good idea. Can anyone remember who it was?

I'd really like to try a scope on it. But it has no rail  The one for it costs 50 quid!

Would it be any good as a Sniper tool ?
or would it be too loud. With mine I am wondering
how I can achieve max consistancy.
As every few shots you get flyers.

Well of course it's fixed. I removed the needle from the AEG being carried by your voodoo effigy doll didn't I?

    Pft...you actually sounded surprised.

Not sure why the M9 still isn't working though. What exactly is wrong with it anyway?

The m9 just won't blowback fully. Just goes half way. So you just end up firing a load of blanks.

It's missing a screw from the slide. Was missing when It was originally shipped out. It may be the problem, its hard to tell.

I've half given up on it it be honest.

Anyone else got an m9 that you can borrow a slide from to test?

I 'should' be at HRTA tomorrow. In the absence of our great airsoft techie (kdouglas), I wouldn't mind having a look at it. I've stripped a few guns now including that pain in the ass TM G18c 5 times. And that's a nightmare to put back together.

I'll bring my hammer. chainsaw and other airsoft-fixing tools.

I never thought of trying a different slide. Probably because I thought the problem was the mags.

I'll bring it along if I'm heading out tomorrow. Still trying to get some money, Damn UPS man left me broke! :(:(
