    last saturday, i was describing my next guitar to a mate a few minutes before we went into a guitar shop. however i didnt intend buying this guitar for at least another year (not enough money now, and another year of college around the corner!!) when we walked into the shop, i was greated with the exact guitar i described to him!!
    Ibanez s series, 2 humbuckers and a single coil, and a locking tremo. It turned out it was second hand, but it was in mint condtion, i wouldnt have realised it was second hand unless the guy told me. Its going for €500,
    im 90% sure this is it (i was in a rush in the shop)

    i am soooo temped, even tough i dont NEED it and i am saving for a vox hybrid amp.

    My singer has that guitar in black...he loves it...it does shred and the neck is super fast....it's got a deadly mechaism on the back for adjusting the tension of the trem...very cool and it's really light!
    For 500 blips...you could do a lot worse mate !!!

    That guitar you've linked to is a 2007 model. The 2007 models didn't really even hit Irish shops til recently. So I doubt the one you've seen second hand is that particular model.

    And, without knowing which model it actually IS, I can't give an opinion on the guitar or the price.

    Any S Series with the ZR trem is a damn nice investment in my humble opinion, they're lovely. Great guitars to play as well.
