    Something caught my eye -

    Contributory Actions

    "Went to wrong side of road" 44%

    A case of winding R-routes where peeps cut across the apex of a bend and meet someone head-on?

    A whole range of factors, I'd say.

    * Over-taking.
    * Lapse of concentration.
    * Drink / drug / fatigued driving.
    * Taking bends to fast / cutting the corner.

    Exceeding safe speed has its own catagory, though it would be interesting to see a further breakdown of the wrong side of the road catagory.

    Does this mean speedis not the number 1 evil on our roads?
