Cant find links online, but heard it on 96fm, and saw the aftermath.

Eastbound on the N25 out of Cork, just along the Carrigtwohill bypass before the temporary lane drop due to the traffic light works, a bus, a fire engine and a pile of water were on the road. By the looks of it the buses engine had blown.

The 96fm news said it was a Cork-Waterford Bus Eireann bus, and by the looks of it, it was a very old bus, one of the intercity fleet with the mechanical number display on the front of it.

About 40 people on it, noone hurt, the driver smelt smoke and got everyone off.

But really the bus shouldnt just catch fire while stuck in traffic. It overheated waiting in the queue for the lane drop, I reckon.
