More4+1 to become C4+1?

Noticed on the sky epg last night that for a few hours the programme names had been replaced by 'This is Channel 4+1'

The ordinary More4+1 progs were showing when the channel was selected.

Is anybody aware of any plans to replace the +1 version of More4 with a Channel 4 one?

I saw this aswell but I think it was a mistake. I don't think they would do a Channel 4+1. That means even more Big Brother!!

Channel 4+1 starting on the 20th August. Channel 4, E4,AND MORE4 taking over the Life channel positions on the EPG.

Wotsat claimed Film4 +1 was to be replaced by Channel 4 +1 which surprised me. It was one of the few +1s I actually found myself watching.

I believed that article was in relation to Virgin Media in the UK. Isnt NTL/Chorus owned by a different company now.

ntl (UPC) would need to negotiate a carriage deal I suppose.

They're bumping them to the end of Entertainment, not closing them unforunately.

LifeTV/LifeShowcase/Life24. C4TC bought them to get the very low EPG numbers.

I would imagine their EPG position was quite valuable. I presume Sumo tv and Ben tv are hoping someone will come knocking on their doors. I believe Zone tv are showing an interest in Sumo..

At least its one way of sorting the EPG. Dump the trash to the bottom of the list.
