Try running the scan in Safe Mode.

Restart your computer and as it restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.
Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then press ENTER. It will load normally then try running your anti virus scan, might work.

If that doesn't work it might be in your best interests to get a decent anti-virus. TBH McAfee is terrible for security. I used to have it and switched to Kaspersky. Its expensive but probably the best. Good luck

    Do this

CLICK HERE to download the HijackThis Installer:
    1. Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
    2. Double-click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
    3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
    4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
    5. Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
    6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
    7. Click on "Edit -> Select All" then click on "Edit -> Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
    8. Come back here to this thread and paste the log in your next reply.
    9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Its not my system, I wouldn't use McAfee myself. Looked it up with them and they say reason virus cant be deleted is because it is relatively new and they are not sure whether it is harmfull or not

Tell your friend to do it then.

    cs1sa1.dll isn't Vundo

Also you shouldn't be copying other peoples threads when using HijackThis and other programs like that, it will only lead to trouble.
