Eh, this is more suited to Bands And Musicians. Why not move it?

suppose, i thought it might be moved to gigs and events. i put it here as nearly everyone here plays somthing, and a lot of people are in bands.

Sure why shouldn't it be moved? I wouldn't have seen it otherwise! Congrats, dude! My first gig was in charlies, augier st. in 1990. We were so crap they threw empty cans at us. Still had a blast!

July last year.. ****ting myself as well when I went up but it went damn well! Few mistakes here and there as you could expect, but overall, good show and had a great time. Good times!

My first gig was quite cool, It was april 6th 1994, I was 16, I was ****ting it too, but I had 3 cans of fosters, back in those days more than enough to make my brain flap its wings. We had a 1.5k sound rig and a massive light show, not bad for a charity gig in the local convent, we played 8 Metallica songs and 1 Nirvana song, we opened with Sandman and they had a strobelight in my face for the intro, it was uber cool. After the show the dj on after all the bands had screwdriver (vodka + orange juice) in mineral water bottles and he kept feeding it to me, I was a absolutely out of it, the bass player suggested crowdsurfing, we got up on stage, he went one way into a crowd of bodies, I dived the other way without looking, there was only one guy there, I hit him hard, OOF!! I got up and ran off as he was much bigger than me.

But the freakiest thing about the night was when road show rentals came to collect the gear at the death, they informed us that Kurt Cobain had been found dead, we had played Mollys Lips earlier that evening, and I am convinced we were the first people in the world to play a posthumous Nirvana cover.
