o.k. i have a 350d with all the usual gubbins , and a fuji f30 for low light ( in clubs and anywhere else i dont want to carry expensive gear) shots.
i was asked recently by someone else with the same idea as to what point and click to get. i told her an f30 ( i just love the thing) but she told me that the f30 is not to be got for love nor money in brick and mortar shops.
the f40 is a balls with its FD rubbish. so can anyone else suggest anything??
i know canon have a point and click with built in IS , but does anyone have one and is it any good ??

really disappointed the f30 is gone ,twas a gem of camera.

    Thanks

www.dpreview.com is the resource to use when looking up cameras... I'm sure a review will be up soon for the f51fd

I think they were very impressed with the f31fd when they reviewed it some time ago.

If it's any help, I have the Canon G7 and I think its the bee's knee's! Fully automatic or totally manual, whatever you want. It's also fairly adaptable, I got 2 lenses for it, wideangle and teleconverter. Great website I found called www.mycanong7.com helped me understand its capabilities. It is compact and will fit in your pocket!
