OK any help guys ?

I went to the Guarda station to see what i needed to do to get a license for a Paint ball gun. I was told that i had to be a member of a club and also have a special permit. SO my first question is

1. Are there any clubs in ireland that I can get membership to.

2. I will be using clubs like skirmish and crossfire what are the laws in relation to the type of Paint ball guns i can buy?

Any help would be great guys.
I have heard rumors of a irish website for paint balling any body know what it is.?

You'll need to get a permission letter from two paintball sites to use it on their land and then show the gaurds a reciept or some sort of proof that you have paid for it but it isn't in the counry...

Dit Paintball is the one for this, i think he was the first in ireland to get autherisation for a marker

Well I dono if if i was the first, but one of the first.

For starters, Paintball Marker.... not gun.

As for the clubs, if you are a nice person, then paintballer.ie can wirte you a letter once you have attended on of our events. A letter to say that you are not a nut job and that to the best of the writers knowledge, you are able to use the marker in a safe manor. Weather a guard takes that, is up to the guard.

Paintballer.ie and the IPPA are more of a national thing, we need people to go about setting up local clubs.

Hey there DIT. I tried to register on www.paintballer.ie today after Gandalf gave me the details but nobody has gotten back to me or authorised my request to join , Can you assist in this area? Any help would be super. I have 3 other friends looking to join also. My user id on paintballer is irishoutlaw27.

Still no confirmation email , Another mate tried to join a few days ago and didnt get on either, thought it might be due to admin staff being busy r something. Any suggestions?

Your email proably delleted it thinking it was spam.

Usually when i get spam it goes into a spam folder, I havnt gotten anything , Im used to talking about spam as I work for an internet company, Can the email be sent again?

There is no record of a user name like yours pending an activation. Try it again as there could have been a server crash and lost the data. I am the admin staff baby!

Ok one slight problem with the site. Its asking me for a visual confirmation code , but everytime i put it in its telling me incorrect.

hmmm. are you puttin in upper and lower case? try refreshing to change the text.

Does your browser accept cookies??? I had same problem before and i fixed it by deleting cookies in > tools>internet options.Just delete cookies before you enter passcode and continue.You'll get cookies almost everytime you load a new page.
