do you guys mind telling me how you get your photos selected int he first place? i.e. do you have them entered as stock photos on some site or are you just emailing them off to companies?

In this case I was invited to a photo shoot along with three other photographers. I am registered with http://www.volunteeringireland.com/ as someone who wishes to do volunteer work in the photography and computing areas. I have taken photos at a number of events http://www.flickr.com/photos/joolsveer/collections/72157601231941005/ and as far as I know this is the first photo that I have had used in a volunteering add. There was a bit of pressure as the photos had to be supplied within about 14 hours so there was no time for post processing (otherwise I might have left the foot on).

For my sins I am now involved on the Music and Dance for Youth side of a multicultural festival in Dublin 15. If you know of any potential participants please contact me.
