admittedly, i am a windows fanboy, but thats a savage keyboard!

more and more i am looking at mac's and considering taking the plunge

It's PC & Mac compatible but it's a fantastic keyboard for FinalCut and Photoshop users who prefer keyboard shortcuts to menus. I didn't notice a price though. Bet it's horribly expensive - >150 notes ??

but since the keyboard keys are basically little LCD's, they can change and imagine they would if you plug them into a better computer :)

I skimmed through one of the trade magazines recently, and there was an article on these keyboards. Can't remember which magazine it was, but it covered these things in some depth.

I think they were taking pre-orders for a limited number of custom built keyboards.
From the review/preview, I didn't get any sense of vaporware ... more of a concept that's hitting production Real Soon Now.

I'll dig up the mag when I get home and post more details.

id almost strech to it, but it doesnt have longevity, OLED displays only work for 5000 hours so its not like itd last 10 years (the life id expect to get out of such a keyboard)

Sweet mother of the divine dead sheep herder !!!! HOW MUCH !

1500 quid for something that'll last 5000 hours ?! I don't think I'll bother just at the moment - but this technology will soon be common place and affordable - hopefully within my lifetime . . . .

Just think KT you could have a keyboard covered with little pictures of yourself :D

even then, still a lot of bucks.

Course I could afford it on my mod salary, seeing as I pass up on the free girls. :D

I was working in Dublin when I first heard about it. I didn't tell anybody because I wanted one - I didn't realise it would become so big. :(
