Has anyone seen Gueuze for sale in Ireland???

I love this beer and can't find it anywhere - pub or off licence.

You'll find Gueuze Boon and Oude Gueuze Boon in most good bottle shops. I know Sweeney's in Glasnevin have it and I would be very surprised if Redmond's in Ranelagh, The Drink Store in Stoneybatter, and McHugh's do not.

You can also get it in The Porterhouse.

Keep an eye out for Orval, by the way. It's a Trappist Beer, not a lambic like Gueuze, but it is bottle conditioned with Brettanomyces, giving it some of the same character as lambic.

Devenys in Dundrum have it too.

Thanks all!!! I'm off to find some now! I've spent a year trailing in and out of off licences looking for it.

I presume it's the Porterhouse in Temple Bar that has it - I've checked Porterhouse North and Central.

Yes, the one on Parliament Street. Now that I think about it, I think the Bull and Castle, across from Christ Church has it in the upstairs beer hall, too.

Now there's a right regal beer, and in a glass befitting it's fine taste !

btw, if you like Orval, check out Westmalle Tripel !
