At the time Oldhamia radiata was discovered in the mid-19th century on Bray Head it was briefly thought to be the oldest fossil known. I believe samples are still quite plentiful and can be found off the Cliff Walk between Bray Head & Greystones.

Does anyone know any more about this, specifically, where Oldhamia radiata might be found today along the Cliff Walk if you went looking for some?
