The time for planet love is only 31 days away. For me its an amazing line up. I've been before in Antrim; It was amazing. I'll never forget it. Anyway, this time I've more money and want more comfort... last time I slept in belfast city waiting for the next train back to Ireland.

Its on in Antrim and Dublin on the same day. Apparently some of the line ups are helicoptering from one venue to the other.

Whats got my knickers in a twist is that I went to tiesto's last concert in Dublin (I'm from Galway) and altho it was a good concert, there were too many younger muppets there, and we queued for ages to get in.

I was thinking of avoiding the muppetry and heading to antrim... perhaps its just me but I think they appreciate it more up there??? Or perhaps the muppet distribution up there is less?? What do u lot think?

The muppets and scumbags won't travel to Antrim so you can be guaranteed they will all be in Dublin.

I hope a new breed of muppets haven't sprung up in Antrim since I was last there. think it was 2 years ago at this stage. Dublin would be soo handy but the muppetry is too young and too stoned/drunk tbh.

I can go to an event like this and totally enjoy it with just a few drinks and lots of water. I listen to BBC daily, and it I run out of dance there I hop over to listen to di.fm.

I personally can't wait for Eddie Halliwell, PVD, AVB, omg... its a class line up... but some of the top DJ's that are in the north won't be in Dublin.

Are there any other differences? Does one close much earlier than the other?

I bought a ticket for the Co. Antrim gig as I way prefer the lineup there. This will be the first time I actually get to see Above & Beyond gig despite listening to their mixes for years. Absolutely no idea how I'm getting there or where I'm staying yet - it's going to be some haul just getting there! But hopefully that will act as a muppet deterrent, though I'm sure Belfast has them, just like Dublin.

Reckon a trip to the Giant's Causeway has to be on the itinerary afterwards.

I've heard most peeps say that most of the muppetry at a certain festival that can't be named here comes from the North so I don't know if you'd get less muppets by going North but you never know. Anyhoo, enjoy and spread the Love. Aren't the Super Furry Animals playing? I think they're the only act I'd be willing to check out.

In my experience our cousins up north are far worse behaved than us at festivals. Seem to like to start fights and get into agro. Im sure this is only the minority though. Im sure you will have a great time.

What we really need here is a scientific study to look at whether muppets are more common at a gig in the north or a gig in the south. This is actually the ideal opportunity given the near identical festival taking place in both locations on exactly the same day. Perhaps the organisers would sponsor me and allow me the use of a spare seat on one of their DJ-transporting helicopters? Anyone good at writing proposals?

Other than that I only have The Point as a single point comparison and that scored very high in muppets and should, in my estimation, be established as a special area of conservation for muppets.

Perhaps some Youtube videos will allow us to do post-event muppet analysis and comparisons.
