Lads, just for anyone waiting on deliveries from UK based sites - theres a series of general mail strikes in progress.

Hmmmm ... mail from Canada doesn't get shunted through the Uk en-route to Ireland does it? Maybe a hangover from former colonial days?

They have been going on since the 25th July. ( they had sparodic ones before that)
I had 3 packages sent since before the strikes. 1 arrived fine within 3-4 days,
the other two there is no sign of yet. One if via surface mail and the other is
via airmail. The tracking number has not updated in one of them AT ALL.
Seriously peeved at the moment. Shouuld of had the tracked airmail signed for one
within 3-5 days. and Customs have not contacted me so I am guessing its not
    held by them.

For Querys Royal mail does not simply let you email them they get you to fill out a form requiring a valid post code. Trying to enter dummy
    ones does not work.

They want people to wait 15 days before asking bout late packages
and 25 days before reporting a lost package. Kinda Sucks.
They also dont seem to guarantee delivery on stuff once it goes outside the UK
as they say its up to that destination country's mail carrier.

Those mail strikes in the UK have been a real pain for me. The throttle cable on my bike broke a few weeks ago when returning from HRTA. With the floods and postal strikes, it took 2 weeks to get a replacement cable from the warehouse in the UK.

This bundle (select the throat-mic from the accessories drop-down list). Discount on the radio, and if bundled, discount of about US$30 on the throat mic against any other site I've found these on.

An IASUS IA-5 UHF radio and NT SniperPRO throat mic

Decent shipping rate on it, and when bundled together, cheaper than anywhere else I could source them. I had to contact the guy running the company to get a shipping price to ireland since their site is a little bjorked for overseas shipping. Very friendly & polite and responded to emails the same day (minus the GMT offset delay - opening hour of 10am their time = 5pm ours)

Just waiting for the bugger to arrive - it's taking its time and probably getting pawed by customs :(
