Anyone know where I can get shot or dry sand for speaker cabinets (preferably within striking distance of Cork)?

I dunno about lead shot but "play sand" from the Early Learning Centre is ideal for speakers... no nasties in it you see. The best solution is a mix of lead shot and sand.

I had bought some playsand (not early learning centre). It was flagged as "ready to use" (for sandcastle-building and the like) and it turned out that it was quite damp for my purpose. Drying it out is time-consuming. If the ELC stuff is dry, then this might do the trick.

    Thanks.
