Using a sky box as a fta box

Just a few quick queries regarding using a sky box as a fta receiver:

    - How do I access my fta channels? Do I have to write a list of each channel number for each fta channel and consult this?
    - Is the only other option to save the fta channels as my favorites and access them like that?
    - Do I get a full epg for ALL fta channels?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I'm aware how to add these channels to a sky box. My queries concern how to actually access the channels using the sky box interface and the epg query.

well if you have already added the channels it should be clear to you that you can only access them via "other channels" as stated in the sticky

Unlike old versions of Sky software, a Sky box will list all the channels, both free and sub on the EPG. The Favourites list may work with a card in, though I'm not sure. However, with your card in, you'll not be able to have BBC Three, ITV2, etc listed on the EPG (presuming you have an Irish expired subscription card). You could I suppose get a Freesat from Sky card. Though, we'd need somebody who can verify if Favourites option works on a non-subscription card.

It does, but has problems now with no card.

    "¿Qué?"

    Problems?
No card, 50 (fta) favorites, full epg, all on one easily accessible list.

Note - You get no epg for the extra channels via the Add Channels.

Also very frustrating for Irish sub Sky+ You cannot record the extra BBCs/ITVs etc
