How would you deal with this? (Ebay)

I won an auction back in mid July, and I filled in the request form asking the seller to give me shipping information so that I could pay him. I received no reply, and when I would go to the Pay Now page, it kept saying "Seller has not provided shipping/postage information"

Fair enough, never happened to me before, but i figured maybe the dude was too busy to notice. It's a company rather than an actual person so I figure maybe he had a lot of auctions on and forgot to get back to mine. So again about a week later, I filled in the request form asking for shipping rates.

A week later, still nothing. Again, I give him the benefit of the doubt and think maybe he just hasn't noticed. So this time, I message him through Ebay where he will also receive an e-mail. A week and a half later, and still nothing. I e-mailed him again yesterday asking him to just cancel the transaction as I'm not interested in dealing with him. If he can't be arsed replying to his mails, why would I bother sending money to him?

So far, nothing. So, how do I proceed with this? Is there a way I can cancel the transaction on my end? Do I contact ebay to do it? The item would be nice to have, but to be honest it was an impulse buy and I'm not that interested in it anymore. It was roughly 70 euro.

Now I'm not that worried about it. I'm happy to just leave the item unpaid. It's not doing any harm right now. But is there a certain time period where if an item is unpaid for, Ebay will come after you?

I'm tempted to just give the dude some negative feedback, but at the same time I don't want to be harsh. He's got almost 3000 points and has had only 1 negative feedback in the last 12 months. I also don't want him coming back and giving me negative. So far I've only got 100 points but I've also got 100% feedback, and don't really want a negative while I'm still selling some stuff off.

Oh, and the seller isn't dead or anything. He has been active selling and giving feedback the whole time.

Contact eBay, tell them the seller isn't responding and you don't want to go through with the sale any longer. You could always just ignore it but you'll keep getting reminders from eBay that you haven't paid yet, which can be annoying. eBay won't come after you at all, only if the seller starts a non-paying bidder dispute with you, sou you'd be best to contact eBay first to say you're not a NPB but are being ignored by the seller.

Yeah, that's probably the best option. I'll do that now. Cheers!
