Anyone else getting a slow response from Ishibashi in the last week. I emailed them on Friday about something and no reply yet, I sent another mail yesterday just to be safe. :)

Its not helping that I have massive GAS for this thing. I'm not mentioning what it is yet. You know the drill, hush hush until its confirmed ;)

I think they seriously need more people working on the International Mails....From what I know there's Daisuke and another person too. Has anyone called them on the phone?

There was a thread on this recently.

I've bought a lot of guitars from Ishi, and for every guitar I buy, there's at least 10 or 20 enquiries about guitars that i'm not lucky enough to bag. So i've had a lot of dealings with them, am quite friendly with a couple of the staff.

They're definitely slower now than they were two years ago. No doubt about it.

Sometimes you'll get a quick response, sometimes you won't. Not much you can do about it. Make sure you're email has 'International question' or 'International order', and definitely e-mail them again if you don't get a response in a day or two.

Yeah I always put in International Question as the subject title.
I emailed them only 20 minutes after it popped up on the U-Box.

That's happened to me a lot, where im 100% i've emailed them almost the instant it appears on the u-box (ie, they update their site late in the Japanese day sometimes, between the Irish morning and afternoon), only to have someone else bag it. There's not a lot you can do, other than cross your fingers and hope they are dealing with emails in the order that they arrive, and not a backwards method of clearing their inbox.

Well I've already dealt with them, I was emailing Daisuke. If I get no reply I'll email again with his name in title. :)

Their email response time sucks. When I did get a reply back I was told there was a few months waiting time for the guitar to come in stock. Gave up at that point

    Ah jaysus, they're killin' me....

I got an email from one of them to apologise for the late response and to confirm price and request credit card details. Just as I was about to enter the card details I got an email from another guy telling me it has been sold....

    :(
