Setanta Sports Premium Pack on NTL

Just wondering if anyone has already signed up to Setanta Sports Premium Pack on NTL? Noticed a bit of a price disparity earlier - it's €15 now on NTL's own site and €10 on Setanta's. Could have sworn it was €10 on NTL as well before.

Anyhow, weighing up whether to go with them for the season. A tenner a month is nothing but with NTL charging €25 for Sky Sports they've suddenly crept closer together.

According to NTL they are charging an extra €5 for the live football matches. The package is all or nothing.

I've got the Setanta pack from NTL - I dropped Sky last month and got the lot off NTL - it was €10 when I signed up but I think it's just gone up in the past few days. I expect I'll get a letter about the increase soon.

Same (Setanta) pack is €18 on Sky without Chelsea TV (not that I want that... or Rangers TV for that matter).

Thats a bit ridiculous. Charging us and extra fiver, I hope the extra money helps them broadcast the channel in widescreen all the time not just at selected moments.

Think thats a Setanta thing, not an NTL thing to be fair (having seen the same problems with Sky)

I've also noticed that the quality of Setanta channels in general can be quite poor at times, like a low bitrate/bandwidth or something. Can be blocky around the edges of objects. Same on both Sky and NTL, so it's not down to either of them. Sky Sports looks clearer on both Sky and NTL in comparison.

    Anyone noticed same?

If Sky are actually filming the event its pretty much guarenteed to be top class (in terms of audio-visuals)

Setanta rely a lot of outside agencies and the standard varies wildly
