Currently this is mostly due to two reasons
1: There is a slightly flakey webnode that like to play silly buggers every now and then and we can resolve that quickly by pulling it out of the load balancing pool.

    2: Big honking nfs box....
We have put in place the big dorty nfs server for most of boards static content including the attachments (this was the db work dan carried out not so long ago that cleaned up the db quite a bit. Now this box can occassionally fall over (There is shiney enterprise level kit going to be replacing it) When disks falls over it can take up to 15 minutes to kill all the processes on the webnodes and to bring everything back up and online.

We recognise that no body likes down time but at the moment there is no real preventative steps we can take to ensure this until some new hardware is put into place.

The style sheet is gone for me. Just wondering what causes that. Any ideas Asok?

Ditto for me. Is there a way I can fix that myself somehow? I know refreshing sometimes works, but not today.

The link to the style sheet is probably borked at their end.

I don't know how boards runs its stylesheets config, there was some work done on it today so possibly something went "weh"

Is the stylesheet thing what makes boards look pretty? Cos everything is fairly white and scary looking at moment...

Yep that's the one. It's kinda irritating without it but at least the site is not crashing any more. Although I've probably jinxed it again. :(

But on the bright side, boards now looks like a primitve form of 4chan.

Just noticed that the time in the top right corner is working (the time's still wrong). It displays 15:01 instead of 15.0.1 or something like that.

Wahhayy. Does any one think boards looks a little weird now with the style sheet back?
